This pergola is fantastic! It was easier to put together than we thought, and it's made our patio the perfect spot for relaxing outdoors, even on hot days. The quality is great for the price, and it looks very elegant.

Sturdy and Stylish
The metal frame is solid, and the canopy provides ample shade. It took a bit to assemble, but the effort was worth it. It's transformed our outdoor space!

How long will it last?
After having it up for a few days, a couple of things have come to light. I understand why they put the grommets at the top. The top to sections are too flat to let the water flow properly. This will cause it to sag when it rains. I have had only about 1/2 inch or so of rain and have sagging issues. If you are in and area with a lot of rain , you can have this issue. I am working on ways to alleviate this issue myself. I have also found that there are small leaks where the Velcro is sewn in and the waterproofing could be better.

Assembly was pretty quick and simple.
The instructions are basic, lacking any verbal explanation at all, but this isn't an especially complex canopy to assemble in the first place. First one took my kid and I about an hour and a half to put together, and that was with a 20-minute break in the middle because it was 114 degrees outside and we were standing out in direct sunlight without any shade; the second one we got whipped together in like 30 minutes because we were able to use the first assembled one for shade (already reaping the benefits!).

Great purchase!
If the shade sail deteriorates, I will probably replace with galvanized panels. 🙂 fairly sturdy, however, I did purchase some bracing to attach at the joints, but have not put them on yet. I did not drill holes in my deck. I used very long zip ties on the rail side when at the top, and one at the bottom on each side. I have my green egg against it on one brick wall and a bench against it on the other. So far I’ve had no issues. I do recommend this product! Very happy with it, and everyone who has been over love, is it even my neighbor!

Nice Canopy
I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could. The instructions have only 4 steps. Lots of repetitive assembly. You’ll need a second person for about a quarter of the job but other wise you can do most yourself. Make sure you have a ladder.
