Exactly what I needed
This garden cage is perfect for my needs. Just installed this yesterday and planted my veggies so we’ll see. I did use stakes for added security and am tacking down the netting to keep out chipmunks. This was easy to assemble!

It does exactly what is intended
I love it and thought the price was good. It took a little time to put together and it wasn’t difficult-just a step by step process. My baby broccoli-onions and Brussels sprouts seem very happy and the cover keep critters out. It was a good purchase or I wouldn’t bother writing this.

Weak base
Product was purchased to protect my plants from the wildlife that comes in my yard. I just assembled it, so can’t comment on the test of time. The netting feels substantial, but the metal forms are not strong enough to hold up to the elements. It was easy to put together, but some of the couplings split, and the metal bars are bending already. I like the concept and will try to find a way to strengthen the form

I do not know yet if the tent is squirrel-proof, I will update the review once the little pests have attempted to break in. If they fail, I may update my review to 5 stars.

Cost more than its worth
The idea behind this is great but it is not very sturdy. The net cage came with 4 anchors that were not long enough or strong enough. This needs to have tie down ropes attached to the top 4 corners to prevent it from blowing over. I had to go buy 9 metal tent stakes to anchor this down. Im glad I didnt buy the more expensive one.

Best for squirrels
I am disappointed every year for my tomatoes because the squirrels always got ro it first every year. This year i put it up and I actually have tomatoes, healthy ones ans not half bitten on the tree.

Light-weight, but functional
I would forget assembling the bottom of the frame because its very light-weight; just stick the poles into the ground. It would also be better for the connectors to be metal, or something other than hard plastic, because with mid-to-heavy breezes, the connectors will crack. Other than that, it is tall enough even with the poles shoved into the ground, the zippers work, and the covering keeps out the critters. It does create a bit of a shade, though, so for vegetables that require full sunlight

Keeps pests out
I bought these for my tomatoes and strawberries that were being attacked by birds. It has kept them and other critters out so far. The zip up door is nice and allows easy watering access. The set up is easy, pretty much a one person job. They are lightweight and come with ground stakes

Clever idea, but the mesh is too fine. It doesnt allow bees to penetrate & pollinate the plants, & in addition, the unit sways in the wind.

Not suitable for high winds
These are great for covering plants. They were easy to set up and very spacious. Unfortunately, we occasionally get high winds where we live and they acted like a sail, despite us using bricks to hold them down. Unfortunately I am unable to use them.

Well made mesh to protect home veggie gardens
A gardener's answer to hungry bunnies, birds, squirrels. True to size. The side zippers give easy access. Be sure to tuck ends UNDER the metal frame pointing toward the INSIDE of your garden bed use a mesh wire underground to keep out all the hungry, burrowing critters like gophers and voles. Wish these cages came tall enough to tent my apricot trees!
