Great shade and easy to put together
Wow! We were hoping for something that would give us some shade from the hot Texas sun, that would fit in the space between our RV and the neighbor, and would be sturdy enough to withstand the crazy wind around here. Well, we got all boxes checked. As for holding up in the weather, it’s too soon to tell. We have only had it for 2 days, but I have high hopes. We will update.

I have to admit I am impressed, we recently had wind with 30mph gust, and it withstood it well! Now that being said we had it doubled bolted down. Had we not Im not sure it would have lasted. However we are super happy with it, and the canvas top would be easy to replace.

Bought May of 2023. Built it June of 2023. Took it down in September of 2023. April 14th I put it back up. Mild wind today and the center section collapsed. 🙁 First picture was day one, next two were today. UPDATE* Parent company, Aosom claims they will ship me the parts. I will give it 20 days for them to make it right.

Wind can rip the velcro from the fabric
Assembly easy but needed help raising the front and back to meet in the middle. I like the big shady effect but when it comes to assembly and sturdiness ….I suppose for the price you can't beat it but if there were reinforcement modifications made and extra nuts and bolts I'd pay up to 25% more. There needs to be another way to attach that middle roof bar to the canopy besides those velcro strips that easily rip from the canopy hung with tiny thread. Even just adding an inch of zigzag stitching with thicker thread in the areas that join velcro to fabric would help. Bolts WILL wriggle loose with the back and forth of wind in that middle section. Lost 3 over night. Need an extra grommet or 2 also

Weak and flimsy
The hardware is garbage. Once it’s assembled, it’s very weak and flimsy. Even with it bolted to a wall I don’t see it lasting long at all in a storm.

Transformed My Backyard

Sturdy and Stylish
I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of this Outsunny pergola. The steel frame is sturdy, and the canopy fabric is durable and has kept its color even after several months of exposure to the elements. It was relatively easy to assemble, though I recommend having an extra pair of hands to help. It's provided a comfortable shaded area on our deck where we can enjoy the outdoors without direct sun.
