Quality designed and engineered
I installed this by myself and it looks great! The neighbors love it too. Installation went smoothly and I was able to compete the project in three days. If I was younger than 70 it may have only taken two! This product is well designed and engineered and made with quality materials.

Make sure you have tools, but great awning
It was packed very well and delivered quickly. The instructions are relatively clear, but it was missing one set of screws that were in the parts list, but not in the instruction set. I put it on my deck, so could not follow the instructions where you build everything up and then slide the panels in, instead built it left to right. Painters tape seemed to help hold things together while the next suppprt was installed. The last connector inside was too long on one end so I had to cut 1/2 strip off the end. Several of the screw heads popped off when using my drill, so I had to file down the stubs. As instructed, i caulked the corners, but wish I had caulked all the seams as some water is getting into the panels. Also, the positioning of my awning is under trees so I left off the gutter part, but there is nothing holding the panels in but caulk. We’ll see how it does!

Frame is made of aluminum so is very light weight but robust. I had to modify it to use it on a second floor porch, so no attachment to a wall but a roof top. Instructions are not the best, but you can get it through the graphics. It will probably take you a whole day to install it and on the gutter I replaced 8 small screws for a bigger self-drilling screws. Besides that everything connects right, make sure to use glue or silicone on the middle metal line that divides and connects both polycarbonate sheets of a total of 7, in order to prevent water leaking as per instructions. Delivery was super fast and I was grateful when I contacted the seller to adjust the price because as soon as I purchased the item was on a promotion 10% off. They replied immediately and honored the offer. In general I’m very satisfied with the product appearance, quality, and price. Best alternative to a wooden one and I highly recommend it! 😀

Overall, it’s great and a much cheaper alternative to a heavier duty awning, but you should have some tools to make your life easier.
