Looks and feels great when assembled. My grandkids love it. Assembly compared to the bulldozer is a little easy. Manual pictures were so small and no explanation at all. You need to be a little technical to vision out how it comes together. Be ready to spend at least 3 hours to assemble it together. Like any other projects, feels great once you're done and see the kids play with it.

I saw people complain that it was hard to push the metal rod through. So what I did is, I got a skinny screwdriver and put that at the other end until they both touched and then pushed it through.

This toy was the most loved birthday gift my four-year-old grandson recently received. It came in a box with some assembly required, although this was mostly easy, with the exception of sliding the steering wheel shaft in through the hole. My husband and I found that simple step took 30 minutes, as it was on a tricky angle and it turned into a game of hit and miss. Once the excavator was put together, it worked perfectly.
