I needed this for my mom so she doesn’t have to walk in the road to get her mail!! The ditch behind her mailbox is almost a 5’ jump. The bridge needed to be 6’ but this fit perfectly across her ditch!! Putting it together wasn’t difficult. I’ll update in about a year with how it has held up! Love it! We built a dry creek by our gazebo and needed a bridge to get to the other side. It’s perfect, and pretty sturdy too. We stained it with a protective oil stain and it looks fantastic! When I finish the area I’ll update with a picture.

Purchased because of reviews, look and weight rating. States finished. NO! Did not appear to be. Looks great but first crossing and slat breaks. All slats feel weak. Single crossers. Not even close to “ up to 400 lbs”. Try 225!! Don’t waste your money.

Nice little bridge
I bought this to go over my dry river bed and have gotten rave reviews. So far, it has held up well. I put on a coat of water seal and stained it. A little nervous about how much weight it can hold though as it does creak when you walk across. Instructions say up to 400 lbs. but I wouldn't push it.

My best boyfriend assembled this for my Valentine's present. First he applied polethylene for 24 hours to dry. Then he filled with wood putty. Assembled and sprayed screws and bolts with a protective coating. He was not happy with the directions, but he made it perfect.

Expectations were average to on the lower end of the scale, but worth a shot. Bridge is good quality, easy to put together and looks great. Bought for a nice addition to a water feature. its not meant for high traffic use but for occasional and ornamental use. very sturdy and will carry an average persons weight with no problem. no regrets, love the bridge!

Great for backyard decoration
We've been working since last year on redesigning our backyard landscape with an Asian theme. I had my eye on this little bridge and finally got it late Spring. I decided to paint it in red and apply protection layers for the sun/rain/snow. While some pieces of the wood are not exactly perfect (that's why the 4 stars on value), you can put some putty here and there to fix it. Sand it, paint it and it will look great, naturally as this is for decoration we are not stepping on it, but I feel it could hold some weight based the some reinforcements that I noticed. I do recommend it, just be aware that you'll have to put some extra attention to protect it with some paint/varnish.

Great value if you pay attention to finish and installation
Arrived quickly with all parts and clear instruction in the box. Applied 3 coats of sealer/stain over all pre-assembled parts. Applied additional spray-on sealer on the bottom part that is in contact with soil. The result is spectacular and seems to hold out great. Cannot beat the price – great value if willing to put in the effort.

My wife purchased this to get over the stone drainage feature in our backyard. I was tasked with its assembly and placement. It was easy to assemble and is performing the task it was intended for, The wife was a little surprised at its actual size as the hand rails are for decoration purposes if you are larger than a toddler.
