Stay a step ahead to keep from disassembling later.
Had to reassemble back upper part of house before putting together because it is picture instructions only. Be careful that you survey every part and go a step ahead in instructions to make sure the next part will fit. It is vague and somewhat fragile. Can't stand too many do overs.

    know your IKEAnese,
know your IKEAnese, pictures and like 5 words, be ready to be short a bolt or two, buy tubes of silicone to frame all the panels and the oxide bolts rust immediately. For the money and effort involved pretty sweet unit. looking forward to getting deeper in the PNW seasons with it in use. It did just last through a freak snowstorm!

    Great Value
What could be added are tie downs, or in my case holes where it could be screwed into a wood floor. We have ours on a deck and would like to screw it down.

    Not that bad to assemble
It took me and my partner a little less than four hours to assemble. Just go slow on the first panel until you get comfortable with how to read the visual-only instructions. Make sure you connect the right pieces together. (Don’t mix up 35A and 35B). It is really cute (4×6) and will be perfect for seed starting. It held up in medium wind today.

I’ve never put something together like this before……This took me a minute to figure out. I’m 70. Alone. Female. No tools. I highly suggest using an electric drill. (I actually put this together with the Allen wrench provided, so it can be done but took me awhile.) You’ll probably also need a rubber mallet to get some of the plastic pieces in (or apart, if you put the plastic pieces on the wrong corners like I did). Organize all the parts carefully when unpacking. Everything is labeled, but if there are, for example, three of something, only one will be labeled so you have to have your systems in place. I organized all the pieces in the house and brought out only what was needed for the next step because the panels can blow away. (There is a film on both sides of the polycarbonate that will need removal, btw.) I misread/misinterpreted the diagrams in two strategic places and had to backtrack, which was frustrating, but managed to undo enough to switch support pieces and hobbled along until it was done. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to caulk every seam, inside and out, when you’re done. I don’t know that it could handle much wind if you didn’t and it would be really loud and probably would let rain in. It goes from rattly and unstable, before caulking, to being a tight, sturdy, really sweet green house if you do and even though it took a lot of time, I think it’s essential. Go slow, don’t force anything. Make sure every polycarbonate panel is cleanly within the aluminum slots. I’m so pleased with the design and functionality. I got it to overwinter my citrus and some tender plants and am happy with my purchase. It’s not easy to put together alone but doable. I recommend this product. Good luck.

Surprisingly sturdy little greenhouse. Very pleased!Bought this greenhouse primarily as a place to sit outdoors in the winter and be protected from the elements in the northeast. Add a small heater and its very comfy. Manual is completely picture based, which isn't a bad thing. All parts were labeled well and the manual referred to each of them easily. Did find that a 2 pieces were referenced incorrectly in the manual or were labeled wrong, one or the other. That was a setback for about an hour while I tried to make it work as the manual suggested but the pictures showed something different so I went with the obvious fit and it all worked out. I spend about 2 and half days putting this together in between other things. I'd say it took me about 8 hours total to do it right and gently get all the window panels in place without bending them. Overall, very pleased and surprised by just how sturdy it turned out. Time will be the ultimate test.

Good cheap Greenhouse, serves its purposeEasy to put together, but definitely needs re-enforcement. Caulking the panels in place helps a great deal. We also built and secured greenhouse onto a wood platform. Both made a huge difference.

  8. Judy

Nice greenhouseI love the greenhouse. However, be careful putting it together. Not all the panels are marked and you have to figure that out. On the front the diagram doesn’t match what it actually looks like. I was missing one screw which was a long one but had lots of extra short screws. Instructions were confusing but in some areas but it went together and seems sturdy and the perfect size for what I needed

Assembly and sturdinessWe live in a wind area and so far so good. Time will tell, but definitely worth the value. Rating 4 out of 5 stars.

Totally in Love!!!!My first greenhouse space and I have plans to grow herbs and vegetables. Not sure what I’m doing as a new gardener so decided to get this cost-effective greenhouse first!! I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED! I did hire a taster on Tasktabbit and it took him about 7 hours to compete. The instructions may not have been clear for him. All in All, if you are handy this build is doable! I placed bricks on the outer to place some anchor weight in addition to the anchor included (needs reinforcement).

Very easy to put together, sturdy.Read the directions step by step and it will go together perfectly. Very sturdy just had a wind storm today 50+ mile per hour winds and it’s still standing. I set two pallets out and bought an inch piece of plywood and drilled it down with the brackets it came with .

  12. peggy

Love it!!!The directions were clear but be sure to look at the pictures very carefully! It appears to be very sturdy and the materials are of good quality.

Very poor instructions and some wrong parts but good in the end.
The order had a missing back rail (4) and two front rails (3). I was able to fix that by drilling through the metal. The instructions were very difficult to follow which required some disassembly and reassembly. The center beam for the window had the hole in the wrong place which required another hole to be drilled. In the end though I got a mini greenhouse and I’m happy with it. It is in no way easy to assemble but you will get there in the end.

    Good Little Greenhouse!
I wasn’t expecting anything fantastic considering the price but I was pleasantly very surprised. It’s a good little greenhouse. Almost completely airtight, sturdy, and generally good quality. Holes all lined up and was able to assemble it just by myself. I was able to drill some holes inside for hanging plants and running cords. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend this. Only drawback is at the very end… to put the roof and side wall panels in you have to “bow” them a little to get it into the slots. Wasn’t the easiest but it worked.

Perfect!Fairly easy to put together. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Worth buying for small spaces!

Great greenhouseSo, I built this for my wife. She absolutely loves it. We built it in house then placed it on the concrete slab I laid. The instructions were not complicated. She did it all. My only issues are: the top door is not well built and if left open in wind, it will be bent out of shape, both the window frame and the housing that holds it. I put a drain hole through the concrete floor. It’s great as she hoses the house down inside morning and night. She is also having to silicone in each window, so in a windstorm they may stand a chance of staying in. We live in a hurricane prone place. So we will see. No parts missing. Price is right. Shipped in 2 boxes that came on the same day. I like the product. I hope you do too.
